Not blogging about not blogging

I always feel guilty when I don’t blog in a few days, and after looking back, it has been a week since I last posted! That definitely makes me feel guilty, though the guilt is lessened by the fact that new people have been commenting. Comments always make me happy.

I always tell people off for blogging about blogging, so I’m not going to mention the fact that I haven’t written a new blog entry in over a week. What I’ll talk about instead is what else I’ve been up to.

Last Saturday I travelled down to London to meet my friend Rob and go sightseeing. It was one of the hottest days of the year, but fortunately we didn’t melt too much.

First stop was Madame Tussaudes where we “met” such famous people as Christina Aguilera (who is far too thin), Richard Branson (who has manboobs), and Samuel L. Jackson (who’s really tall!).

The funniest part about Madame Tussaudes was the fact that people bumped into the waxworks and then apologised! Oh, what British-ness!

We then headed over to the London Eye, but the queue was about 5 hours long so we skipped that, instead settling for a walk along the side of the Thames where we saw a big clock, a protest, a well-endowed dragon, and a telephone box.

We eventually made it to the millennium bridge which wasn’t wobbling! I tried to get arty by holding my camera at an angle, and it was by sheer chance I managed to get this great photo of a seagull.

With plenty of free time due to skipping the London Eye, we went the long way to the Science Museum, ate at Wok in a box on Oxford Street, before finally tubing it over to Hyde Park where we traded Moo cards and took daft photos with the Macro setting on Rob’s camera.

Sunday was spent at the Give It A Name festival where I finally got to see Billy Talent (I’ve been wanting them to tour for years!) for the first time. The headline act was 30 Seconds to Mars, who I really couldn’t care less about seeing!

So that was last weekend. This last week has been spent busying away on projects, all of which should be launching soon. I feel like I haven’t stopped!
