And I will answer

Eris: What do you think of the 2022 HTML 5 release date?
I think that’s probably a bit too far in the future… 2009 would be nicer.
Eris: Furthermore, what do you think the internet, or its future equivalent will be like in 2022?
I think the Internet will still exist in some form in 2022. I think it will be a lot more reliable (no more dodgy wi-fi signals) and I think we’ll finally have proper broadband speeds at least somewhere in the UK, if not everywhere. I think more household devices will connect to the Internet and use the connection for things.
Sarah: What are you looking forward to most with your upcoming trip to Telford?
This question is kind of redundant right now, because I’m back from Telford. However, I can tell you that my favourite part was going around the Wonderland place and seeing the Dinosaurs!
Peter: What do you think of open source software, particularly Linux?
I think open source software is a great thing. It’s much cheaper than the big-brand alternatives, there’s usually a huge support community to go with it, pretty much anyone can add features to it, and it’s often of a better quality than the big-brand alternative. Having never really used Linux, I can’t comment on it.
Ramsha: If you could have any skill that you don’t already have, which would be the most tempting?
The ability to play the flute. I’m a musical person - I can pretty much play any instrument I try. The flute, however, I suck at, and that really bugs me!
If you could vote in the American elections, who would you vote for? Which, if any, particular political system holds the most promise for you and why?
I honestly don’t think I would vote in the American elections. If and when I do vote, I want it to be an informed decision, and right now I just don’t know enough about politics and political parties to make that decision.
Aisling: What’s your favourite thing about your town?
What’s the weirdest thing you did last week? What’s your favourite thing in your room?
The weirdest thing I did last week was probably get my new glasses. They’re zebraprint and I love them very much! Also, my favourite thing in my room would have to be my floor. It’s very useful for storage space!
If you could be anywhere in the world right now where would you be and why?
Anywhere? Probably… Japan! I have never been there before, and my Dad is there right now, so it would be cool to go and hang out with him!
What is your favourite film?…. will you marry me?
My favourite film? Ever? Not sure. Recently? Wall*E. I loved that film so so much! As for marriage… is that even legal? Would it help me get residence in Canada?
Miro: If the earth was coded in HTML, what would be the most adventurous place to go to?
<table>, definitely, because that’s where food is kept. Unless you mean that there are more HTML elements, in which case… <canada> would be good.
Amanda: Now that you’ve got your passport, which country do you plan on visiting first? Have you got a vague timeline (e.g. Australia in 2010, Canada in 2011) mapped out in your mind?
France! I’m going on the 22nd of November for the weekend, because I have tickets to the Simple Plan show in Lille. After that, I don’t really have plans. I would like to visit Canada, and Australia, and that’s about it. Hopefully / definitely before I turn 30. Wanna help me save on hotel bills?
Kim: What superpower would you love to have and what would you do with that power?
I would love to be able to fly, so I could fly everywhere and not have to worry about parking my car!
Tanya: What is your favourite pizza topping and/or sandwich filling?
Cheese. Definitely. I love cheese so much; I like it on pizza, I like it in sandwiches, I like it in toast; I like it with sausages. Cheese goes with everything!
Rin: I like your articles, can you write more?
Maybe. Some of my current articles actually need updating, so I think I should do that first.
Emsz: When will you make the hop over the channel to come and visit me? Did the package I sent you arrive yet?
I think you should come to England, but yes, I’ll definitely add the Netherlands to my list of places to visit. I wonder if SP will tour there. And, yes! Your package did arrive! Thank you so much.
What language (not programming) would you like to learn? If you had to be on a tv show which one would you want to be on?
I would love to learn French again. I have an A-level in it, but recently my standards have been slipping. I would love to be good at French again. And if I had to be on a TV show, it would be… the news!
Any other questions?

Ask me a question

I’ve opened up this write panel every day for the past week, and haven’t written a single word. Am I taking the easy way out by copying Amanda and opening myself up to interrogation.
Ask me a question, anything you like, and I will answer. Remember though that my Dad reads this blog, so don’t ask anything too embarrassing.
Apart from that, though, go ahead and ask!
