I love art. I may not understand it all that well, and I may not be any good at it, but I love looking at other people’s artwork. I love looking at pictures and at creations which get some kind of reaction from me.

This is why I have a DeviantArt account. I haven’t uploaded any of my own “art” yet, but I’m working on that. I just use it to look at, comment on, and ‘favourite’ other people’s artwork.

My current favourite artist is Angstronaut.

Angstronaut also takes commissions (you should totally pay her to draw you something). I’m considering getting her to draw a couple of pictures of me, because I really wish I could draw like she does.

Rachael It’s not often I blog about random websites, but I’ve just been introduced to one by AVVStudios and Rob, and it was too good to not share.

Face your manga.com is a place where you can make an avatar of yourself. The one above is me. It’s pretty much a spitting image, when you compare it to the photo on my about page.

It’s my birthday today…

And I feel so old! 21 years ago to the day I was a lot smaller than I am now, but probably still as vocal.

It’s not even 10am yet and already I have had lots of amazing presents. At the moment I can’t decide which is cooler: the Canon EOS 1000D from my parents, or the paint-your-own model dinosaur (complete with ROAR-sounds) from my sister. Both are pretty cool!

Flickr is being silly and not letting me upload a whole lot of stuff, but I have managed to get a few pictures up. So, I shall leave you with a photo spam of my birthday so far. Photos are (of course) taken with my new camera.
