4 gorgeous single-page portfolios

I’m a huge fan of minimalism and simplicity. I love single-column websites, and I especially love single-page websites. Here are 5 of my favourite single-page portfolios.

Stage5

Stage5

Stage5 Studio is the portfolio of Danny Silva, a freelance web designer based in San Antonio, Texas. The dark greys and the bright blues give this site a very powerful impact.

Sroown

Sroown

Sroown is the portfolio of Ivan Aleksić, a new media designer in Belgrade, Serbia. Even though it’s predominantly a tiny bit flash-based, and the “back to top” link gets on my nerves, I still think this portfolio is striking.

Sergei Shiryayev

Sergei Shiryayev

Sergei Shiryayev is a designer from Alaska, US. I love the attention to detail he has in his portfolio. Again, it’s another dark design with bright blue.

Gloamine

Gloamine

Gloamine is the portfolio of Miro Bzduch, a digital designer living in Sydney, Australia, and is yet another example of people combining dark grey with bright blue. I love the attention to detail in Miro’s layout, especially the cute little forms he has got going on.

I think it’s funny that 3/4 of them are blue and dark grey. :P Those all look very nice!

Vera said:

I like Gloamine the best, but the others are not bad either.

I honestly don’t care whether they are one page or more. To me is the ease of loading on my dial-up connection, lol. I hate it when they take forever to load.

I like single page websites too. :) It’s like, YAY INFORMATION! Done. Nice.

I have too many photos to do that, I think.

Though, now that I think about it…

Hm, I might be playing in photoshop later :d

Yes, single page webpages are so effective and lovely in terms of being to-the-point. I find it incredible how people can do that! :o My favourite would have to be Tanya Merone’s which is the epitome of a one-page portfolio.

Nellie said:

Ah! Ramsha beat me to it. When I had a short-lived desire to open my own portfolio, I was (probably overly) inspired by Tanya Merone’s page.

I like the dark designs of all the ones you’ve linked. :)

Hmmm, inspiration?

I like them!

Hello, first of all I’d like to thank you for talking about my website. It’s good to hear that someone is inspired by my work.

I just like to make one digression. In description it says that website is “predominantly flash-based”, though it only has a little “new” sign that is on top of the new work done in flash. ;)

Reply: Ivan, I do apologise! I turned off flash, and your site still appeared. So for that, I apologise. I have ammended your description to fit.

The first one has extremely disorganised type, but apart from that a lovely little selection. The interactivity on Sroown is wonderful. :)

I’m surprised you left out Danny Blackman’s portfolio - I’ve never seen anything quite like it :)

Websites that like these, make me wish that I knew how to actually design something. :P They are inspiring, really.

But, I’ll settle as being an admirer instead.

These are lovely. I’m so inspired to redo my portfolio. :D

Hey Rachael,

Thanks for the post. It’s always cool when people talk up your stuff. Hope all is well…..
