Someone has been messing with my iTunes

My trusty iPod Nano let me down the other day. I was doing something with it that Apple probably wouldn’t like me doing, and my iPod threw a strop. I ended up having to hit the “restore” button which unfortunately wiped every single thing that was on the iPod.

I used the opportunity to go through the mess that is my iTunes library, and sort everything out. Each track now has an album to live in, and every single track now has album artwork. This will make the Coverflow feature far more interesting!

Whilst going through the 2000+ songs in my library, I found some songs that I’m sure I didn’t put there. I always like to think that I have a fairly “good” taste in music. If that’s the case, there’s no way I would have the following tracks in my library by choice:

There are Gremlins in my iTunes, I tell you. Gremlins! They are everywhere. Have a look through your own music library. What have the Gremlins put there?

What are you talking about, “Don’t Stop Movin’” by S Club 7 is a classic song. You should get rid of the rest, but at least keep that one…

I have the “This Is Why I’m Hot” song in my iTunes.

*walks away shamefully*

Woah :| *stays as far away from those song titles as possible*

I’m going to go check my iTunes now…

Who knows why the gremlins do what they do?

I had Biology on mine once. =[ But to be fair I liked the song at the time, now I hate everything to do with Girls Aloud, honest!

I’d so have the S Club song on mine. No kidding, I still love them. They were the best thing ever I reckon. ^_^

I recently cleaned my iPod of all the gremliness, but I know for a fact that my mum still has Lily Allen’s album on hers, AND she listens to it. =/ Haha. She loves Lily Allen, really.

I’m so anal about my songs. Every song MUST be properly titled and have an album, and artist, and cover art. For some reason the cover for American Idiot won’t show up, and it’s driving me crazy. *stabs iPod*

lol at Lucy. :P

I totally laughed out loud when I read you have “I believe I can fly” by R. Kelly in your iTunes. :P From what I’ve read about your musical tastes, slowjams/R&B is not it!

You think that’s bad?! I just found this… Stars Are Blind - Paris Hilton. WTF…. seriously… just…. wtf.

You didn’t add them to your iTunes but they were in there? Then who did add them??? Oooh…aliens….

Some of those songs are good! Well… not really. But, that “this is why I’m hot,” song is super catchy! And I like “I Believe I Can Fly,” but I prefer the punk version, personally.

I have all sort of music on my iTunes that are mysterious. But I like them all anyway. I like most things. :P

Uhm, nothing that isn’t a guilty pleasure of mine. Except for James Blunt and Bon Jovi. I guess my mom had them there to put on her iPod.

I have “Switch” and “This Is Why I’m Hot.” I can’t say much about the rest of that list, but those aren’t *terrible* songs! I’m not that ashamed to have them. :P And I guess I’m lucky, ’cause I certainly don’t have any gremlins!

Maybe you were plastered when you brought those songs. :P Either that or they were free so you just though, “Meh, might as well.” Hah.

“I believe I can flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I believe I can touch the skyyyyyyyyyyyy!” That R. Kelly song always reminds me of the movie “Space Jam”, LMAO.

Anyway…

Why are you hating on “The Final Countdown”??? This song is full of WIN! =D

I can’t talk. I have so many guilty pleasure/catchy songs in my iTunes that I actually enjoy. Let’s put it this way… I have Pantera mixed in with Miley Cyrus. I mean, it’s not like I list any of them in my top ten of music favorites or anything. But, they’re there… and they have more than a few listens on them…

The FINAL COUNTDOWN! *dances around like GOB*

That song is my ringtone just so that every time I get a phone call or my alarm goes off, I can laugh hysterically :)

You know, I had a similar experience when browsing iTunes a while ago. Somehow “Rock Me Amadeus” by Falco got in there, and I’m still not sure how.
