A strange sense of achievement

There are no messages in your Inbox.

Words cannot describe how proud I feel of myself right now. Last night I had over 500 emails sitting in my inbox. It was a mess. I couldn’t find anything, and I had no idea what was there. I deleted over half of the emails, and the rest have all been sorted into sub-folders (Q*Bee, stuff to keep, memberships, etc).

Clean out your inbox, everybody! Make a fresh start for the new year, and keep on top of things. At least, that’s what I’m hoping to do. Anyone got more than 500 emails to tackle?

Gmail keeps them organized enough for me… besides, whenever I have more than 15, I get a mad urge to delete everything :P

Besides, people rarely e-mail me these days…

Now if I could only start on coding that script… I ight feel that sense of accomplishment as well.

I never have unread email in Gmail, and I usually folder (filter works great) and archive everything. However on my hotmail account I have over 1200 emails. I gave up on hotmail when I realised I had over 600 and couldn’t keep up and got gmail.

I use Gmail too. So, I keep everything, which comes in handy when I need, say, the contact info for one of my friends. Or I want to remember when something happened.

I have gmail too (calmbanana) - email me! However, I’ve found the GUI to be sluggish and way too complicated for my needs.

My inbox is so organized it’s ridiculous. I cannot stand clutter, so I’m a bit of a maniac with folders and tags.

See, normally I can’t stand clutter either (I made all my desktop icons disappear), but for some reason I just let my inbox get on top of me. That’s why it feels good that I’ve conquered it. I shall be triumphant!

I have 478 unread in one mail box, but it only seems to be spam these days so I rarely check it, I tend to use the one I’m posting with here for official things, and memberships now, and I go through that every day!

I’d love to have the time to sit though and organise them all. Well maybe time is wrong: I’ve just watched 4 doctor whos in a row, I have time today, obviously! Do you want to do it for me? lol

Sometimes, if I haven’t been on-line for a few days. But, my spam folder is always full and disorganised.

My email inbox has been absolutely empty for the last four days. I wonder if people don’t love me anymore.

I think I have that amount. Many, many say “You have just been added to the [insert topic here] fanlisting!” I have unread messages from quite over one year…I absolutely must clean my inbox.

I don’t think Gmail is complicated. I love how you can access my web/domain emails all from one place

No messages in your Inbox? Wow. I feel accomplished when I just have no unread messages in my Inbox. :D

I used to clean out my Yahoo inbox after I had 10 or 20 emails sitting in it, but I just don’t bother anymore. I never get any emails on that address anyways. Now I use Gmail.

The best thing about Gmail is that it doesn’t make me want to organize or delete anything when I can just search for it when I want it! My hotmail inbox used to be regularly cleaned and archived, but my standards have slipped with Gmail.
