Note to self

1) Mobile phones do not charge themselves. They need plugging into a charger every now and then.

2) If you’re going to play your saxophone outdoors in freezing cold weather, you should really consider wearing gloves.

3) When people say “A”, do not assume that they really mean “A”. It’s entirely possible they could be talking about “B”.

4) Stupid people use trains.

5) Do not assume that people know where they’re going on the London Underground.

6) Left != Right

7) When getting undressed for bed, it helps to take your glasses off before you take your jumper off.

Has someone had a bit of a bad week?

And yes the majority of train users are very stupid. I have had the unfortunate experience of finding that out for myself!

I’ve experienced 7 a few times before :P. Sometimes I forget my glasses are even on and I have to poke at my eye to see if there’s glass :P.

Hey at least you have your phone charger. Mine got lost whilst we were moving house and I haven’t been able to charge my phone. I went to the store to get a new one but as they don’t sell my phone anymore there was none. Eventually I got a second hand in-car charger which is totally useless when we don’t even use our car anymore except to charge a phone. Grr

I always forget that if I don’t buy minutes for my phone it won’t work. :( And yet, even though I am minute-less, I still carry it around because it looks pretty. Also, it comes in handy when I need to use the pay phone to call my friend because my phone has no minutes. :P

Never do dance warm ups in the basement. Because the cold makes the floor slippery, and you will twist your ankle. Just FYI.

And not all people on trains are stupid. Some are just genuinely confused about which stop will get them closest to the Food Court in TD Square. Even though they’ve ridden to that particular spot several hundred times each year since they started high school.

And when taking my, er… sweater (Yay Canada) off, I just pull it over, and worry about my glasses when they are STABBING ME IN THE EYES. Much easier that way. :)

No 3 reminds me of that time my aunt said the driver ahead of us had turned on his left flasher, but was quite possibly going to turn right, as sometimes people do that sort of thing. WTF?

I agree with point 5 :D. However you could include all other train stations/underground transport users. People get confused in Hong Kong and there are even light up maps of the route the train is going.

I know where I’m going on the tube! I know my left from right!

*flashback of Rachael going ‘Right Lil… RIGHT RIGHT!!’ whilst wandering aimlessly in the underground*

Good times. And I agree that trains are for losers. Losers that wear no pants.

No 1, No 6 and No 7 is what always happens to me :P

I would usually remember to charge it, when I’m outside home and my battery’s flat, plus I need to use it because it’s an emergency ><

I keep getting confused between right and left if they said it in Chinese or Malay, and embarrassing things happen :P

As for glasses, I keep forgetting that I have them on, so I always end up dropping it on the floor when I’m taking off my shirt lol
