Answer time.

You asked, I answered.

Sarah asks:

1) Which are your least favourite bands and why?

I wouldn’t say I have any bands that I particularly dislike, because I just tend to avoid bands that don’t appeal to me. However, if I had to name a few that I particularly go out of my way to avoid, they would be Matchbook Romance and Slipknot.

2) Your oppinion on Pete Doherty?

Couldn’t give a stuff really. Sorry!

3) If you could be any other nationality, what would you be and why?

Canadian! I think Canada and most of its population is wonderful.

Annie asks:

4) What’s the URL of your first ever site?

http://freewebs.com/wegg - feel free to point and laugh. Pay particular attention to guestbook.

Kaylee asks:

5) How do you feel about being a sheep?

Meh. I’ve been called far worse! I don’t mind being a sheep when it’s for something cool. Naturally, I wish I’d started this bandwagon myself, but we can’t all be as cool as Amanda.

6) When you were a kid, what did you dream of becoming?

Like most little girls I wanted to be a popstar. Those dreams were crushed when I realised I couldn’t sing or dance. I then wanted to be a Doctor until I realised I wasn’t clever enough. I thought it’d be pretty cool to be a lorry driver (especially because in German it’s “luftkraftwagenfahrerin” and that’s awesome to say).

Allison asks:

7) What do you think happens when we die?

Not a lot, to be honest. I think once our brains stop functioning we cease to live, and when we’re buried / cremated our bodies decompose and cease to exist. That’s about it, really.

Catherine asks:

8) If you weren’t a sheep, what kind of animal would you be?

I’d like to think I’d be something cute, small, and fluffy. Like a kitten or something.

9) where have you been to around the world, and where would you like to go?

I’ve never left England. I’d like to go to Canada, Australia, and New Ziggy though. And America at some point, but that’s a pretty large country and I’m having trouble narrowing it down though, probably Baltimore - I have a friend out there. I also have a friend in Boston.

Ashley asks:

10) Why are stupid people allowed to have children?

Because it would seem contraception / birth control is only for the intelligent. I wish we could stop stupid people having children, but unfortunately we can’t. Then again, the world would be dull without stupid people.

Clem asks:

11) What is one band or singer that you like but that you wouldn’t want to admit to anyone?

Shania Twain. Mika. Britney Spears. Christina Aguilera. Shakira. And sometimes Beyonce!

12) If you made a band, would you name it The Calm Bananas? If not, what would you name it?

Rachael Furn and the Rachaelettes.

Lene asks:

13) Do you believe in the law of attraction?

I don’t even know what the law of attraction is. Wasn’t it a film or something with George Clooney?

14) Can you sing the alphabet backwards?

Absolutely! Can’t say much for the tune I sing it to though…

15) What do you like most about yourself?

My stunning good looks. Well, maybe not “stunning” but I do think I have nice eyes and a nice nose.

16) Do you have an electronic gadget (aside from computer) that you can’t live without?

Laptop. Phone. iPod. Digital Camera. USB Stick. So… er, yes.

17) Do you tend to correct people when they make a grammatical error while they speak?

No, because the main errors that I correct are “your/you’re” and “they’re/their/there” which are impossible to tell apart in speech.

18) Do you speak any other language?

Oui.

19) Do you like children?

Of course. Children are lovely. I prefer them when they’re nice though.

20) How do you feel about public speaking and/or controlling a group?

That depends entirely on the situation. I’d rather not speak in public, but I can lead a small of group of people easily enough. I’m good at motivating other people.

21) Is there an ultimate goal you aim to accomplish one day and work everyday towards it?

Being the next Jacob Nielsen.

Rilla asks:

22) Have you ever liked any guy in life?

I had a boyfriend when I was 11. Does that count?

Amanda asks:

23) Do you intend on blogging more about me in the future or something?

Perhaps. Especially if you come up with more stuff for me to blog about. Of course, you’re not the only Amanda I might blog about. I’m a bit partial to the ol’ Amanda Bynes as well, so maybe I’ll use the tag for her.

24) I know you like all the punk/emo type music, but what do you think of a genre like hiphop and artists like Kanye West?

In general, I’m not a fan of hiphop. I’d rather listen to singing than rapping, and hiphop just has a completely different sound to punkrock. I much prefer the guitars and the sound of a guy behind a drumkit than synthesised stuff and drum machines. Of course, there are exceptions, I simply adore the song “Gold Digger” and I like the band “Gym Class Heroes” who are what I’d call “light” hiphop.

Rosie asks:

25) why does traveling frighten you and big cities, large crowds?

Travelling doesn’t frighten me per se, I’ve just never really gotten around to doing it. As for large cities, they’re just something I’m not used to. I’m from a town with a population of ten thousand - to go to somewhere bigger is intimidating!

Lil asks:

26) What is your ideal meal?

Pasta twists, chopped up sausages, and ketchup. That’s all I need. Nothing more, nothing less.

27) Who are you favourite comedians, and why?

Lee Evans, Dara O’Briain, Jimmy Carr, Jack Dee, and various others. Why? Because they’re funny.

Especially me, right? ;)

I would so go to see your band, just for the Rachaelettes.

German has a lot of amazing words!

Very true, very true.
I love the band name! How do you think of things like that?
I’m glad to hear you like children. Although most people don’t consider me a child anymore. Is 13 a child?

I learned French in school from year 3 upwards. I have a GCSE and an A-level in the subject. I also have a GCSE in German.

Especially me, right?

Oh, absolutely!

I don’t know really… Alas, 13 is still a child. Doesn’t mean you have to be immature though.

New Ziggy = New Zealand, right? Or am I stupid? :P

And me, don’t you love little Canadian me?

And you had a boyfriend at 11?!?

I think I’ll just POINT AND LAUGH for the sake of not having anything better to say. I still love you though.

HAHA. *points at website*

I won’t laugh about your site because it was your first and it’s way better than my first attempt. It’s good to know that you didn’t reduce yourself to text-speech. Though, I might have a little read of the fan fiction one of these days :P

Oh, I think your first site is cute. ^^

Wegg… That’s a cute site name.

Aisling said:

Yeah, I must say that Canadians rock, and you are very wise for loving us so much!

Back to English, if you moved to Canada, WHERE in Canada would you like to live? It’s a pretty big place after all!

I like the star background on your first website ;)

Did you get my email about Enid on her way??

Nan said:

Your very first website crashed my Firefox! Interesting answers!

19) Do you like children?

Of course. Children are lovely. I prefer them when they’re nice though.

So the answer is that you don’t like children?

Rachael said:

Well, it’s not that I *dislike* children, I’m more indifferent. I don’t have children on my own and I don’t plan on having children any time soon. I’ve worked with children in the past and that’s been lovely, so let’s say… I like the sort of children that you can give back at the end of the day.
